Ingredients
- 8 medium tomatoes peeled and cut into wedges
- 8 slices bread crusts removed and cubed
- 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons butter melted
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon dried basil
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 3/4 cup parmesan cheese grated
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Grease a 13x9-inch baking dish.
- Arrange the tomatoes in the prepared baking dish.
- Top the tomatoes with the bread cubes.
- In a small bowl, combine the butter, the salt, the basil, and the thyme.
- Drizzle the butter mixture over the bread and tomatoes.
- Sprinkle the bread and tomato mixture with the cheese.
- Bake, uncovered, until the tomatoes are tender and the cheese is melted and golden, about 30-35 minutes.
