Ingredients

  • 1 pound sausage uncooked
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 2 1/2 cups baking mix such as Bisquick
  • dipping sauce optional, of your choice, for serving

Directions

  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F.
  • Mix the sausage, cheddar cheese, and baking mix in a large mixing bowl. You can use either a spatula or your hands. It should come to a consistency not unlike dough.
  • Roll the sausage mixture into balls, around 1 inch to 1 ⅔-inch rounds.
  • Place the sausage balls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 25 minutes.
  • Remove from the oven and transfer to a serving plate.
  • Serve with your ideal dipping sauce.
