Ingredients
- 1 cup yellow onion diced
- 1 1/2 pounds cube steak
- 2 (10.5-ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1 (0.87-ounce) packet brown gravy mix
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2/3 cup water
Directions
- Spray the inside of a slow cooker with cooking spray.
- Add the diced onions to the slow cooker.
- Add the cube steaks on top of the onions.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, the brown gravy mix, the salt, the pepper, and the water, stirring well.
- Pour the soup and gravy mixture over the steaks in the slow cooker.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on high until the steaks are tender and cooked through, about 4 hours. After 3 hours, stir the steaks to ensure they are not sticking together.
- Stir and serve!
