Ingredients
- 2 pounds pork chops boneless
- 1 (12-ounce) jar sliced pepperoncini
- 1 (1-ounce) envelope dry ranch seasoning packet
- 1 (0.87-ounce) package brown gravy mix
- 1 stick butter cut into 8 tablespoons
- mashed potatoes optional, to taste, cooked and hot, for serving
- peas optional, to taste, cooked and hot, for serving
Directions
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the pork chops and sear them just until they pick up a little color, about 1 minute per side.
- In an 8-quart slow cooker, add the pork chops.
- Add the jar of pepperoncini and their juices to the slow cooker.
- Sprinkle the ranch seasoning and the brown gravy mix over the pork chops in the slow cooker.
- Place the butter evenly over top of the pork chops.
- Cover the slow cooker and cook on low until the pork reaches an internal temperature of 145 degrees F and is very tender, about 6 hours.
- Serve the pork chops with the mashed potatoes and the peas.
