Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 2/3 cup barbeque sauce
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 2/3 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 1/2 pounds chicken pieces skinless and boneless, cut into 1/2-inch strips
Directions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add the barbeque sauce, the Worcestershire sauce, and the garlic powder to the melted butter and stir to combine.
- Add the chicken strips to the barbeque sauce mixture and stir to coat the chicken.
- Cover the saucepan and simmer the barbeque sauce/chicken mixture until a thermometer inserted into the center of the chicken reads at least 165 degrees F, about 3-5 minutes.
- Spoon the sauce over the chicken pieces and continue cooking until the sauce thickens, about 4 minutes.
- Serve.
