Ingredients
- 3 cups chicken cooked and shredded
- 1 cup dill pickles diced
- 1/2 cup bacon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 cup ranch dressing
- 12 slices bread
- 1/2 cup margarine
- 4 cups mozzarella and cheddar cheese blend shredded
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, add the chicken, the pickles, the bacon, the salt, the pepper, and the ranch dressing and stir until the ingredients are fully combined.
- Spread the bread slices with the margarine and cut the slices in half.
- Place 1/2 of the bread pieces, margarine-side down, into the prepared baking dish.
- Sprinkle 2 cups of the cheese on top of the bread.
- Spoon the chicken mixture on top of the cheese and evenly spread it out.
- Sprinkle the remaining cheese on top of the chicken mixture.
- Place the remaining bread pieces, margarine-side up, on top of the cheese.
- Bake the casserole until the bread is golden-brown on top, about 20-25 minutes.
- Serve.
