Ingredients
For the açaí syrup:
- 1/2 cup freeze-dried strawberries
- 1/4 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup filtered water
- 1 teaspoon açaí powder
For the concentrate:
- ice to taste, for serving
- 1/2 cup white grape juice
- 1 cup cold filtered water
- 1/4 teaspoon green coffee bean powder
- freeze-dried strawberries to taste
Directions
- In a saucepan over high heat, bring 1/2 cup of the freeze-dried strawberries, the sugar, 1/2 cup of the filtered water, and the açaí powder to a boil.
- Lower the heat and simmer the syrup until a texture forms, about 8-11 minutes.
- Place a mesh strainer over a bowl and pour the strawberry mixture into the strainer to separate the syrup. Make sure all liquid from the fruit is released.
- Allow the syrup to cool for 10 minutes.
- Fill a glass with the ice and then add the grape juice, the remaining cold water, and the green coffee bean powder; cover the glass and shake to mix it together.
- Pour the syrup into the glass and top with the extra freeze-dried strawberries.
- Serve.
