Ingredients
- ice to taste
- 1 1/2 ounces orange-flavored bourbon such as Jim Beam® Orange
- 1/2 ounce orange juice
- 3/4 ounce lemon juice
- 1/2 ounce simple syrup store-bought or homemade
- soda water to taste
- 1 lemon slice or orange slice optional, for garnish
- 1 mint sprig optional, for garnish
Directions
- In a cocktail shaker, add the ice.
- Fill a rocks glass with more of the ice.
- Add the orange bourbon, the orange juice, the lemon juice, and the simple syrup to the cocktail shaker, cover, and shake to combine.
- Strain the bourbon mixture into the prepared glass.
- Add the soda water to the bourbon mixture and gently stir to combine.
- Serve garnished with the lemon slice and the mint sprig.
