Ingredients

  • 6 strips bacon cut crosswise into thirds
  • 3/4 pound chicken breasts boneless and skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 3 teaspoons Montreal Steak® Seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish optional
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Place the bacon slices on a microwave-safe plate lined with paper towels and cover them with additional paper towels.
  • Microwave the bacon slices until they are partially cooked but not crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
  • Place the chicken in a small bowl, sprinkle it with the steak seasoning, and toss to coat.
  • Wrap a bacon piece around each chicken cube and secure with a toothpick.
  • Place the chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake the chicken for 10 minutes.
  • In a bowl, add the horseradish to the barbecue sauce.
  • Transfer the baking sheet from the oven and brush the sauce mixture over the wrapped chicken.
  • Bake until the chicken is cooked through at 165 degrees F and the bacon is crisp, about 5-10 minutes.
  • Serve.
