Ingredients
- 16 frozen tater tots room temperature
- 16 (1/4-inch) cubes sharp cheddar cheese
- 8 slices bacon halved
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar packed
- 1 tablespoon fresh parsley leaves chopped
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat.
- Wrap 1 of the tater tots and 1 of the cheese cubes with 1 of the bacon pieces.
- Secure the bacon with a toothpick.
- Repeat until the remaining tater tots and the remaining cheese cubes are wrapped in the remaining bacon.
- Add the brown sugar to a shallow bowl, then dredge each of the wrapped tater tots in the brown sugar, pressing slightly to coat.
- Place the wrapped tater tots, seam-side down, on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the wrapped tater tots, flipping them once halfway through, until the bacon is crisp, about 20-25 minutes.
- Serve immediately garnished with the parsley.
