The corn is golden, tender, and sweet, only needing a few dabs of rich and creamy herb butter to bring its full flavor to the forefront! Ingredients

  • 8 medium ears sweet corn
  • cold water to taste
  • 1/2 cup butter softened
  • 2 tablespoons fresh basil minced
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions

  • In a stockpot, add the ears of corn and enough of the cold water to just cover them.
  • Allow the corn to soak for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the grill to medium heat.
  • Drain the corn.
  • Carefully peel back the husks to within 1-inch of the bottoms of the corn.
  • Remove the corn silk.
  • In a small bowl, add the butter, the basil, the parsley, and the salt and mix until combined.
  • Rewrap the corn in their husks, making sure they are secured with kitchen twine.
  • Add the corn to the hot grill and cover the grill.
  • Grill the corn, while turning them often, until they are tender, about 25-30 minutes.
  • Transfer the corn from the grill and remove the kitchen twine.
  • Peel back the husks.
  • Serve the corn topped with the herb butter.
