As you socialize (or try not to), sink your teeth into these sweet little buns, filled with tangy buffalo chicken and all the yummy fixin's. Ingredients

1 pound chicken breasts boneless and skinless
2 tablespoons plus 1/3 cup Louisiana-style hot sauce divided
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 cup butter cubed
1/4 cup honey
12 Hawaiian sweet rolls warmed and halved horizontally
lettuce leaves to taste, for serving
tomato to taste, sliced, for serving
red onion to taste, thinly sliced, for serving
blue cheese to taste, crumbled, for serving

Directions

Place the chicken into a 3-quart slow cooker.
Add 2 tablespoons of the hot sauce and the pepper to the chicken and toss to combine.
Place the lid on the slow cooker and cook the chicken on low heat until it is tender, about 3-4 hours.
Transfer the chicken from the slow cooker and discard the cooking juices.
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the butter, the honey, and the remaining hot sauce and cook, while stirring occasionally, until blended.
Shred the chicken using two forks.
Stir the shredded chicken into the butter mixture and cook until it is heated through.
Divide the chicken onto the bottom buns and top with the lettuce leaves, the tomato, the onion, the blue cheese, and the top buns.
Serve.
