Ingredients
- 4 cups watermelon cubed
- 1 tablespoon honey or sugar plus more, to taste
- 2 cups water divided
- ice to taste
- 1/4 cup lime juice plus more, to taste
Directions
- Place the watermelon, 1 tablespoon of the honey, and 1 cup of the water into a high-speed blender and blend well.
- Using a spoon, test the sweetness and add more of the extra honey if desired. Blend the watermelon mixture until combined.
- Strain the watermelon mixture into a pitcher and add the remaining water.
- Add the ice to four glasses and pour the agua fresca over the top.
- Evenly divide 1/4 cup of the fresh lime juice between each of the glasses and stir.
- Taste the agua fresca and add more of the extra lime juice if desired.
- Serve.
