Ingredients
- 4 sweet potatoes cut into large fries
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon pepper
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- In a large microwave-safe bowl, add the sweet potatoes and the water and microwave until the sweet potatoes are slightly softened, about 5 minutes.
- Drain the excess liquid from the potatoes.
- Add the Italian seasoning, the lemon pepper, the salt, the pepper, and the olive oil to the sweet potatoes and toss until the potatoes are well-seasoned.
- On a baking sheet in a single layer, arrange the seasoned sweet potatoes.
- Bake until the fries are crispy on the outside, about 30 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
