Ingredients
- 6 strips bacon cut crosswise into thirds
- 3/4 pound chicken breasts boneless and skinless, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 3 teaspoons Montreal Steak® Seasoning
- 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish optional
- 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Place the bacon slices on a microwave-safe plate lined with paper towels and cover them with additional paper towels.
- Microwave the bacon slices until they are partially cooked but not crisp, about 3-4 minutes.
- Place the chicken in a small bowl, sprinkle it with the steak seasoning, and toss to coat.
- Wrap a bacon piece around each chicken cube and secure with a toothpick.
- Place the chicken pieces on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake the chicken for 10 minutes.
- In a bowl, add the horseradish to the barbecue sauce.
- Transfer the baking sheet from the oven and brush the sauce mixture over the wrapped chicken.
- Bake until the chicken is cooked through at 165 degrees F and the bacon is crisp, about 5-10 minutes.
- Serve.
