Ingredients
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 (8-ounce) cans crescent rolls
- 1 (21-ounce) can cherry pie filling
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 tablespoon milk
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line a large pizza pan with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, the granulated sugar, and the vanilla extract and using an electric handheld mixer, beat to combine.
- Transfer the crescent rolls from the cans, unroll them, then separate them into the perforated triangles.
- On the prepared pizza pan, place the crescent dough triangles, overlapping them with the long-pointed end outward, leaving an approximately 6-inch circle in the middle of the pan.
- Where the wide area of the crescent dough triangles overlap and come together, evenly spread the cherry pie filling onto the circle.
- Evenly spread dollops of the cream cheese mixture on top of the cherry pie filling layer.
- Fold the pointed ends of the crescent dough triangles over the filling and pinch the dough points into the wider ends of the dough to seal.
- Bake the ring until golden-brown, about 18-20 minutes.
- Transfer the ring from the oven to a wire rack and let it cool slightly.
- In a medium bowl, add the confectioners' sugar and the milk and mix until a smooth glaze forms.
- When the ring is slightly cooled, evenly drizzle the glaze over the top of the ring.
- With a sharp knife, cut the ring into serving-sized slices and serve.
