Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons butter melted and divided
  • 4 cups sourdough rolls cubed
  • 1/3 cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 medium sweet onions sliced
  • 1 (8-ounce) package fresh mushrooms sliced
  • 1 cup white wine
  • 1 (10.75-ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup jarred roasted red bell peppers drained and chopped
  • 2 1/2 cups chicken cooked and shredded

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  • Lightly grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
  • In a bowl, toss 4 tablespoons of the butter with the rolls, the cheese, and the parsley.
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, sauté the onions in the remaining butter until golden brown, about 15 minutes.
  • Add the mushrooms to the onions and sauté for 5 minutes.
