Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter softened
  • 3 russet potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup 2% low-fat milk
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese grated

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Using the butter, grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • Spread the potatoes evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, add the heavy cream, the milk, the garlic, the flour, the salt, and the black pepper and whisk to combine.
  • Evenly pour the cream mixture over the potatoes.
