  • 1 pound ground chuck or ground turkey
  • 1 envelope chili seasoning
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/4 cup onion, minced
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • hot sauce or Worcestershire sauce, to taste
  • salt, to taste
  • pepper, to taste
  • hot dogs, to taste, cooked, for serving
  • hot dog buns, to taste, for serving

Directions

Step 1 -Add the ground chuck to the skillet over medium heat and cook until it is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain the excess grease.

Step 2 -Add the chili seasoning and the water to the meat, bring it to a simmer, and cook until it thickens, about 5-7 minutes.

Step 3 -Use a fork to break up any large chunks of the meat.
