Ingredients

  • 1 (7-ounce) package mixed dried fruit
  • 1 large onion cut into wedges
  • 1 (5.5-ounce) can unsweetened apple juice
  • 1 (2-pound) beef chuck roast boneless
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
