Ingredients

  • 1 1/4 cups light sour cream divided
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can fat-free refried beans
  • 1 cup chunky salsa drained
  • 1 cup prepared guacamole
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/4 cup tomatoes cored and seeded, chopped
  • 1/4 cup black olives sliced and drained
  • 1/4 cup green onions sliced, green part only
  • tortilla chips to taste, for serving

Directions

  • In a small bowl, combine the taco seasoning and 1 cup of the sour cream. Set it aside.
  • Spread the refried beans onto the bottom of a 9-inch dish.
  • Spread the seasoned sour cream mixture on top of the refried beans, making it as even as possible.
  • Spread the salsa on top of the seasoned sour cream mixture.
  • Top with the guacamole, leaving a 1 1/2-2-inch border around the dish.
  • Sprinkle the shredded cheese around the outer perimeter of the dish.
  • Spread the olives, the tomatoes, and the green onions on top of the shredded cheese.
  • Put the remaining sour cream in a pastry bag fitted with a round tip. If you don't have access to a pastry bag, you can cut the corner off of a sealable plastic bag.
  • Place 1 dollop of the sour cream in the center of the guacamole.
  • Then, pipe multiple circles around the dollop.
  • Using a toothpick, make the spider web. Start at the center of the dollop, dragging it out past the outer circle of the sour cream.
  • Set a plastic spider in the center of the spider web, if desired.
  • Cover and refrigerate.
  • Serve with the tortilla chips.
