Ingredients
- 1/2 pound chicken breast
- 1 large egg
- salt to taste
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs plain
- 2 tablespoons butter unsalted
- 2 tablespoons dipping sauce optional, i.e honey mustard, ranch dressing, BBQ sauce, of your choice, to taste
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
- Boil the chicken breast for 20 minutes in water.
- In a blender, blend together the cooked chicken breast, the egg, and the salt.
- Pack small balls of the meat mixture into cookie-cutter shapes of your choice.
- Roll the shaped chicken pieces in the breadcrumbs. Alternatively, form the meat mixture into small balls and roll them in the breadcrumbs; shapes are optional.
- Place the shapes or balls onto a cookie sheet.
- Drizzle the chicken tenders with the butter to make them crispier.
- Bake until crispy, about 10 minutes. Flip halfway through if you want both sides crispy.
- Remove the chicken from the oven.
- Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
