Ingredients
- 1 (14.25-15.25-ounce) box white cake mix plus the ingredients called for on the package
- 1 cup water boiling
- 1 (3-ounce) package strawberry-flavored gelatin
- 1 (8-ounce) container whipped topping thawed
- 12 fresh strawberries halved
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Coat a 9x13-inch baking pan with cooking spray.
- Prepare the white cake mix batter according to the package directions.
- Transfer the batter to the prepared baking pan, spreading it out evenly.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted into the center of the cake comes out clean, about 28-32.
- Transfer the baking pan to a wire rack to cool for 20 minutes.
