Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (8-ounce) container mushrooms sliced
  • 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (12-ounce) bag green beans
  • 1 pound chicken breasts cooked, cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1/2 cup sliced almonds divided
  • 1/4 cup parmesan grated

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  • Add the mushrooms to the butter and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
  • In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, the sour cream, the onion powder, the garlic powder, the black pepper, and the salt and beat with an electric hand mixer until combined.
  • Add the green beans, the cooked chicken, the cooked mushrooms, and 1/4 cup of the almonds to the cream cheese mixture and stir to combine.
  • Pour the green bean mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • Evenly sprinkle the casserole with the remaining sliced almonds and the parmesan cheese.
  • Bake the casserole until it is cooked through and bubbling, about 30 minutes.
  • Serve.
