Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 (8-ounce) container mushrooms sliced
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 (12-ounce) bag green beans
- 1 pound chicken breasts cooked, cut into bite-size pieces
- 1/2 cup sliced almonds divided
- 1/4 cup parmesan grated
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
- Coat a 9x13-inch baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
- Add the mushrooms to the butter and cook until softened, about 2-3 minutes.
- In a large bowl, add the cream cheese, the sour cream, the onion powder, the garlic powder, the black pepper, and the salt and beat with an electric hand mixer until combined.
- Add the green beans, the cooked chicken, the cooked mushrooms, and 1/4 cup of the almonds to the cream cheese mixture and stir to combine.
- Pour the green bean mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Evenly sprinkle the casserole with the remaining sliced almonds and the parmesan cheese.
- Bake the casserole until it is cooked through and bubbling, about 30 minutes.
- Serve.
