Ingredients

  • 1 (8-ounce) can refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 slices deli ham
  • 8 slices sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons water

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a baking sheet.
  • Separate the crescent roll dough on the perforated lines into 8 triangles and lay them flat on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Layer 1 slice of the ham and 1 slice of the cheese on top of each of the dough triangles.
  • Tightly roll each of the layered dough triangles, starting with the wide ends, to form the crescent shape.
  • In a small bowl, add the egg and the water and whisk to combine.
  • Evenly brush each of the filled croissants with the egg wash.
  • Bake the filled croissants until they are golden-brown, about 9 minutes.
