Ingredients

  • 3-4 pounds country-style pork ribs
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 1/3 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce

Directions

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  • Grease a roasting pan.
  • Place the ribs in the prepared roasting pan and bake, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
  • While the ribs are baking, in a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the water, the ketchup, the Worcestershire sauce, the salt, the chili powder, the onion powder, and the hot pepper sauce.
  • Bring the sauce mixture to a boil and cook for 1 minute.
  • Drain the excess grease from the ribs.
  • Spoon the sauce over the ribs, cover the roasting pan, and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes.
  • Uncover the pan and bake, basting once, until the ribs are cooked through, about 30 minutes.
  • Serve.
