- 1 1/2 cups ketchup
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 2 cups beef stock
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
- hot sauce, optional, to taste
- 1 (12-16-ounce) package 12 slider rolls, tops and bottoms still together
- 1 teaspoon everything bagel seasoning or sesame seeds
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F.
Step 2 -In a large skillet over medium heat, melt 2 tablespoons of the butter.

Step 4 -Add the garlic to the carrot mixture and cook until it is fragrant, about 1 minute.
Step 5 -Add the ground beef to the veggie mixture and cook, while crumbling the meat, until the beef is no longer pink, about 5-7 minutes. Drain the excess grease.
Step 6 -Stir the ketchup, the brown sugar, the chili powder, the dry mustard, the beef stock, the tomato paste, the Worcestershire sauce, the salt, and the pepper into the beef mixture and simmer, about 3-5 minutes.
Step 7 -Add the hot sauce to the beef mixture and mix well.
Step 8 -Pour the beef mixture into the prepared baking dish.
Step 9 -In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the remaining butter.
Step 10 -Place the slider rolls on top of the beef mixture and gently push them down.
Step 11 -Use a pastry brush to evenly brush the melted butter all over the exposed portions of the slider rolls.
Step 12 -Evenly sprinkle the slider roll tops with the everything bagel seasoning.
Step 13 -Bake the casserole until the slider bun tops are toasty, about 8-10 minutes.
Step 14 -Serve.
