Ingredients
- 4 cups Corn Chex
- 4 cups Cheerios or toasted oat cereal
- 4 cups pretzel sticks
- 4 cups Cheez-It crackers or cheese-flavored crackers optional
- 2 cups peanuts
- 2 cups pumpkin seeds
- 1 cup butter melted
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon seasoned salt
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne
Directions
- Preheat the oven to 225 degrees F.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the Corn Chex, Cheerios, pretzels, cheese-flavored crackers, peanuts, and pumpkin seeds.
- In a small mixing bowl, add the melted butter, vegetable oil, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, seasoned salt, chili powder, and cayenne, and whisk until well combined.
- Pour the butter mixture over the cereal mixture, carefully tossing it until the dry ingredients are well coated with the butter mixture.
- Pour the contents onto 2 large rimmed baking sheets.
- Bake at 225 degrees for 2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes.
- Remove the baking sheets from the oven and allow the snack mix to cool.
- Serve the snack mix at room temperature.
