Is Ham N' Cheese Pie a pie or a quiche? Hard to say for sure, but it's delicious no matter its label! Ham N' Cheese Pie is loaded with savory ham, creamy Swiss cheese, sharp cheddar, and plenty of bacon, all within a fluffy, seasoned bed of eggs! You can just melt away into the melty goodness of this Ham N' Cheese Pie; it's not just a breakfast of champions, it's the champion of breakfast!
Ingredients
- 1 cup ham, fully-cooked and diced
- 3/4 cup Swiss cheese, shredded
- 5 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled
- 3/4 cup sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 3 tablespoons onion, chopped
- 3 tablespoons green pepper, chopped
- 1 cup milk
- 1/4 cup biscuit/baking mix
- 2 large eggs
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
Directions
Step 1 -Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
Step 2 -Grease a 10-inch pie plate.
Step 3 -Layer the ham, the Swiss cheese, the bacon, the cheddar cheese, the onion, and the green pepper in the prepared pie pan.
Step 4 -In a blender, add the milk, the biscuit mix, the eggs, the salt, and the pepper.
Step 5 -Cover the blender and process for 35-40 seconds.
Step 6 -Pour the milk mixture over the ham-cheese-vegetable mixture in the pie plate; do not stir.
Step 7 -Bake, uncovered, until set and lightly browned, about 30-35 minutes.
Step 8 -Let the pie stand for 5 minutes.
Step 9 -Serve.
